At the Nursing Home

This is a public poster series still on display on the exterior of Ashfield Civic Centre.

It illustrates a short piece by local writer Hilary Hewitt, designated to me by arts organisation Spineless Wonders on behalf of Inner West Council.

This project involved visiting a specific nursing home in that area at a time when the press was drawing a lot of negative (but necessary) attention to issues in the aged care sector. I enjoyed the challenge and the site was a busy place with a bright energy - I was truthful to what I perceived while maintaining respect for that environment.
